Car Stats And History
This is my 1989 Firebird Formula. I bought in 1996 with 104,000 miles on it. It is currently equiped with a 305 TBI V8, 700R4 Auto transmission, T-tops, Ground Effects, Power windows and mirrors. It has recevied many upgrades over the years. Currently it has a full 1998 Trans Am leather interior with center console. The headlights have been converted to xenon lights useing Hyper Industries conversion kit. It has new carpet from Next Generation. Headman Headers have been added to the engine, with flowmaster exhast. The intake has been opened up and the fuel regulator has been made adjustable. The car currently has over 227,000 miles on it.
Future Mods in the works
Currently Im having an engine built. Its a 350, bored .60 so its a 360. It will have a LT4 hotcam, vortex heads, 1.6 roller rockers, scoggin dickey intake manifold, true double roller timing chain. TPI with a 58mm throttle body, edlebrock high flow runners, modified mass airflow sensor. The rear will be equiped with a Zexel-Torsen Posi differential with 3.42 ratio.

Autocrossing The Beast
Not only do i show my car, but I race it to. I am a member of the SCCA. I autocross in Solo 1 and 2 events. For those of you not familar with autocrossing, you race through a course made up of safty cones for the best time. You are classed up with similar vehicles of power and weight. You race 2 heats and work one heat. In a Solo 2 event, top speeds are aprox 50mph, in a Solo 1 event, top speeds are around 75mph. We race Solo 2 at Belle Chase Naval Airforce Bace and at Zephery Stadium. Solo 1 events are held at No Problem Raceway in Donaldsonville.
